🔥 2027: Wike, APC Scared of Opposition Coalition – Atiku’s Aide

By Luminous Jannamike

As Nigeria edges closer to the 2027 general elections, the political climate continues to heat up. Paul Ibe, Media Adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, says the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and allies like FCT Minister Nyesom Wike are visibly shaken by the growing strength of the opposition coalition.

🚨 ‘Coalition Could Unseat APC’

Speaking to Vanguard in Abuja, Ibe claimed that the opposition’s rising influence has triggered panic within the ruling camp.

“They’re scared because they know the coalition represents a formidable platform that could remove this administration,” Ibe said. “Even with defections, the people are aligning with the coalition.”

💬 Wike’s Mockery, “Whiskey Talk” – Ibe

Responding to Wike’s recent dismissal of the opposition alliance as “dead on arrival,” Ibe described the minister’s comments as unprovoked and unsubstantiated.

“Such utterances are likely driven by 40-year-old whiskey or whatever he’s been drinking for decades,” Ibe quipped. “They should focus on governance instead of ranting.”

🔍 Government Failing Nigerians – Atiku’s Camp

Ibe also accused the APC-led government of failing in its core duties.

“The government has failed to protect lives, especially in states like Benue and Plateau. The cost of living is unbearable. Nigerians can’t afford food or school fees,” he noted.

“When they say things are improving, the question is: for whom? Certainly not for the average Nigerian.”

🤝 Coalition Unity in Progress

Despite public skepticism and criticism, Ibe expressed confidence in the opposition’s ability to unite Nigerians and provide an alternative in 2027.

“Once we finalize agreements and sign the dotted lines, Nigerians will eagerly board this train. It’ll be a mass defection away from this failed government,” he added.

An unnamed coalition insider also dismissed Wike’s remarks, stating:

“He’s like social media – full of fake news. Nigerians shouldn’t take him seriously.”
