Two Killed, One Injured in Fatal Crash on Ota-Idiroko Road in Ogun State

Ogun State, Nigeria – Tragedy struck on Friday afternoon along the Ota-Idiroko Expressway as a fatal crash claimed two lives and left another person seriously injured.

According to the Ogun Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), the accident occurred around 1:00 p.m. in the Chelsea area of Ota and involved a truck and a motorcycle.

Mr. Adekunle Ajibade, TRACE’s South-West Area Commander, confirmed the incident during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday.

Ajibade noted that the collision was severe, resulting in the immediate death of two victims, while one other person sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

He emphasized the need for road users, especially motorcyclists and truck drivers, to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations to avoid such tragic incidents.
