Trump Accuses Xi Jinping of Conspiring With Putin and Kim Jong Un Against the US

Former US President Donald Trump has alleged that Chinese leader Xi Jinping is working with Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to conspire against America.

The accusation came on Wednesday as China staged its largest-ever Victory Day parade in Beijing, showcasing military strength and hosting 26 world leaders, including Putin and Kim.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote:
“Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un as you conspire against the United States of America.”

He also reminded Beijing of the “massive support and blood” the US gave China during World War Two, saying: “Many Americans died in China’s quest for Victory and Glory. I hope they are rightfully honored and remembered for their bravery and sacrifice.”

The event marked the 80th anniversary of Japan’s surrender in World War Two and China’s victory against occupation forces, which Xi used to underline China’s global influence. Analysts said the presence of Putin and Kim sent a direct message of defiance to Western nations that have largely isolated them.

Despite his fiery social media post, Trump later downplayed concerns about an anti-US alliance. Asked if Beijing was forming a coalition against Washington, he said: “No. Not at all. China needs us much more than we need them.”

In a separate radio interview, Trump insisted that America’s military superiority meant neither Russia nor China would risk conflict. “Believe me, that would be the worst thing they could ever do,” he said.

Trump also admitted he was “very disappointed” in Putin after their recent talks in Alaska failed to produce a peace deal on Ukraine, but said the US would take steps “to help people live” in the war-torn country without offering specifics.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of a new Russian troop build-up along parts of the frontline, stressing that Putin “refuses to be forced into peace.”

China has not condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and continues to face accusations from the West of indirectly supporting Moscow through oil purchases and dual-use supplies — claims Beijing denies.
