South African side Chippa United have confirmed the departure of Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali after he formally requested to leave the club.
The Port Elizabeth-based outfit made the announcement on Thursday via its official X account, stating that the 28-year-old’s request was approved following management review.
Club Confirms Exit
In its statement, the club said:
“Chippa United Football Club confirms that Stanley Nwabali has formally submitted a request to depart the club. After careful consideration, the club has agreed to grant his release.”
The Chilli Boys also expressed gratitude for the goalkeeper’s professionalism and dedication during his time at the club.
