The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, embarked on a nationwide rally across all public university campuses to press the Federal Government on unresolved issues.

ASUU’s demands include the renegotiation of the 2009 ASUU–FGN agreement, improved welfare packages, opposition to the TISSF student loan scheme, and halting the unchecked establishment of new universities.
