The Edo State Government has ordered the immediate closure of all satellite campuses of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
In a statement on February 11, 2025, Secretary to the State Government, Umar Ikhilor, directed that all academic programmes must now be conducted exclusively at the university’s main campus in Ekpoma.
The decision aligns with Governor Monday Okpebholo’s commitment to improving education standards and ensuring better management of the institution. The university’s Governing Council and management have been instructed to enforce the directive immediately.
