The late Emir of Gusau, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello, will be buried today, Friday, immediately after the Jumu’at (Friday) prayers, according to an official announcement from local authorities in Zamfara State.
Chairman of Gusau Local Government Area, Alhaji Abubakar Imam, disclosed that the funeral prayer (Salatul Janazah) for the late royal father will take place at exactly 2:30 p.m. at the Gusau Central Jumu’ah Mosque.
“I wish to inform the Muslim Ummah in the state and across Nigeria that Almighty Allah, who has power over all things, has taken the life of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gusau, Alhaji Ibrahim Bello,” Imam said while announcing the funeral arrangements.
The passing of the emir marks a significant moment of mourning for the people of Zamfara State, particularly in the historic city of Gusau. Mourners, community leaders, government officials, and religious clerics are expected to attend the funeral rites in large numbers.
The late emir is remembered for his leadership, dedication to peace in the region, and his commitment to traditional values.
