President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Wednesday for a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom, according to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga. The trip, which is part of Tinubu’s yearly leave, will also serve as a working vacation, providing him with time to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.

“He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms. He will return to the country after the leave expires,” the statement read.

Tinubu’s trip comes just two weeks after his return from London, where he met with King Charles III. This marks the President’s 27th foreign destination since assuming office 16 months ago and his fourth trip to the United Kingdom.

Throughout his tenure, Tinubu has visited various countries, including Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, India, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Germany, among others.
