Second Epstein Victim Alleges She Was Sent to UK for Sex With Prince Andrew – Lawyer

A second woman has alleged that she was sent to the United Kingdom by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein for a sexual encounter with Prince Andrew, according to her lawyer.

The woman’s legal representative, Brad Edwards, told the BBC that the alleged encounter took place in 2010 at Royal Lodge, Prince Andrew’s former residence on the Windsor estate. The woman, who is not British, was reportedly in her 20s at the time.

Edwards, a Florida-based attorney whose firm represents more than 200 Epstein survivors worldwide, said his client claims she spent the night with the former prince and was later given a tour of Buckingham Palace, including afternoon tea.

“We’re talking about at least one woman who was sent by Jeffrey Epstein over to Prince Andrew,” Edwards said. “And after a night with Prince Andrew, she says she was given a tour of Buckingham Palace.”

First Allegation Involving a Royal Residence

The claim marks the first time an Epstein survivor has alleged that a sexual encounter involving Prince Andrew occurred at a royal residence.

BBC News said it had contacted Prince Andrew for comment, but he had not responded at the time of publication. Buckingham Palace routinely records visitor names, but the BBC said it could not independently verify the woman’s visit without revealing her identity.

Edwards said there were communications between his client and Prince Andrew before the alleged encounter and that he had previously been in contact with the former prince’s legal representatives in the United States.

However, he claimed communication ceased after King Charles formally stripped Prince Andrew of his royal titles and honours in October last year, following the publication of Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir.

Background: Epstein, Giuffre and Andrew

Virginia Giuffre had previously alleged that Epstein trafficked her to London in 2001, when she was 17, to have sex with Prince Andrew. She also claimed she was abused by the former prince in New York and on Epstein’s private Caribbean island.

Prince Andrew has consistently denied all allegations.

Epstein was convicted in 2008 of soliciting sex from a minor in Florida and died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.

Giuffre filed a civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew in the United States in 2021, which was settled out of court in February 2022 for an estimated £12 million. She died by suicide last year.

Possible Legal Action

Edwards said he is now considering filing a civil lawsuit on behalf of the second woman.

He criticised the royal family’s handling of the matter, arguing that stripping Prince Andrew of his titles has made it harder for alleged victims to obtain compensation.

Buckingham Palace has previously said the royal family’s “thoughts and utmost sympathies” remain with victims and survivors of abuse.
