The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced that online registration for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening exercise will commence on Monday, July 28, and will run until Tuesday, August 20, 2025.

This was revealed in a statement published on the university’s official website, signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs. Abosede Wickliffe.

According to the statement, only candidates who made UNILAG their first choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 200 and above are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Minimum UTME score of 200.
  • Five O’Level credit passes at one sitting, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects.
  • Must upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS on or before September 12, 2025.
  • Applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.
  • Candidates who do not participate in the online Post-UTME aptitude test will not be considered for admission.

Additional Guidelines:

  • Registration must be completed using personal and active email addresses, as this will serve as the official communication channel.
  • Former UNILAG students withdrawn for poor academic performance or absence can reapply only to different programs.
  • Students previously expelled from UNILAG are ineligible for re-admission.

The university also emphasized its zero tolerance for drug abuse, warning that any candidate who tests positive—either before or after registration—will have their admission withdrawn.

Mock & Official Screening Dates:

  • Mock Examination: August 25–27, 2025
  • Official Post-UTME Test: September 1–5, 2025

Prospective students are advised to follow the instructions carefully and ensure all requirements are met before deadlines.
