The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has announced free medical services to celebrate the 83rd birthday of its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who was born on March 2, 1942.
In a statement on Thursday, Pastor Leke Adeboye revealed that the initiative is part of the church’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts aimed at improving healthcare access for the less privileged. The programme will offer a wide range of free medical services, including general and specialized surgeries, eye treatments, dialysis sessions, reading glasses, consultations, and obstetrics and gynaecology services.
The services will be provided through the Redeemer’s Health Centre (RHC), and interested individuals can register by contacting designated phone numbers or visiting the RHC premises.
According to RCCG, Pastor Adeboye’s passion for humanitarian service is reflected in the church’s numerous CSR projects, which have impacted over 166 million lives and executed more than 990,000 projects. The church’s health interventions have been extensive, with over nine million beneficiaries of free healthcare services, 33,052 completed healthcare projects, and four intensive care units established in different locations.
The RCCG emphasized that its mission extends beyond spiritual guidance to community service, ensuring that those in need receive essential healthcare support. This initiative, the church noted, is a testament to Pastor Adeboye’s lifelong commitment to serving humanity and making a positive difference in society.
