Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has become the most valuable player in Turkish Super Lig history, with a market value of €100m—€70m ahead of second-placed Nicolò Zaniolo (€30m).

Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli last summer, has justified his price tag with 19 goals in 24 appearances. According to Transfermarkt, his valuation surpasses past big-money signings, including Jean Michael Seri (€25m), Steven Nzonzi (€23m), Tanguy Ndombele (€22m), and Mauro Icardi (€22m).

Meanwhile, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are in talks to trigger Osimhen’s €75m release clause when the summer transfer window opens. Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reports that both clubs have made verbal offers regarding salary and contract terms.

United manager Ruben Amorim has identified Osimhen as his top target to strengthen the attack, as current strikers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee struggle in the Premier League. The club is considering different transfer options, but Napoli prefers a direct cash deal.

Osimhen has been in top form, helping Galatasaray compete for the Super Lig title and progress in the UEFA Europa League. His performances in Turkey follow his historic 2022/23 season, where he led Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years and became the first African to win the Capocannoniere with 26 league goals.

With both United and PSG pushing for his signature, Osimhen faces a key decision on his future, weighing Premier League competition against PSG’s Champions League ambitions. For now, he remains focused on Galatasaray’s ongoing campaign.
